Spooky season is creeping in, and we're diving into the Halloween spirit! During Halloween week, keep an eye out for eerie cobwebs, ghostly decorations and maybe even a costumed staff member or two! Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie (1 Serving)
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or preferred milk)
½ cup pumpkin purée
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
½ frozen banana
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
A handful of ice
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Taste and adjust sweetness/spice.
Pour into a festive glass, add toppings, and enjoy!
Optional Toppings:
Whipped cream (dairy or coconut)
Sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg
Crushed graham cracker or granola
Spooky Boosts:
Add chia or flax for fibre
Use chocolate protein for a “pumpkin-chocolate” twist
Mix in black cocoa or food-grade charcoal for a dark Halloween hue
