Located at the tip of Greenwich Point, the Baths offer a unique swimming experience with some of the most spectacular harbour views in Sydney.

Whether you are looking to do some open water laps or simply want a relaxing day out with the family, the Baths provide a beautiful and calm environment. To make the most of your visit during the warmer weather, we have put together a guide to help you pack the essentials for a comfortable day by the water.

Your Beach Day Essentials

To stay safe and comfortable in the sun, we recommend bringing the following items:

• Sun Protection: Use SPF 50+ reef safe sunscreen. For the best protection, remember to reapply every 20 minutes, especially after swimming.
• Hydration: Bring an insulated water bottle to keep your water cold and stay refreshed throughout the afternoon.
• Sun Safety: A wide brimmed hat and quality sunglasses are a must to protect your face and eyes from UV rays and water glare.
• Footwear: Thongs or sandals are ideal for protecting your feet from hot surfaces and making it easy to brush off any sand before you head home.
• Comfort: Don’t forget a towel for drying off and relaxing on the beach area.
